National School Lunch Program Login
The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day. The program was established under the National School Lunch Act, signed by President Harry Truman in 1946.
All Kentucky schools are expected to complete an Electronic Designated Personnel for Food Alert/Emergency Feeding form (KY-FD-22) so that the Kentucky Department of Agriculture’s Division of Food Distribution has all necessary information in the event of a hold or recall on commodities from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
All schools are asked to complete a Participation Survey regarding the Department of Defense (DOD) program to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables. Schools that did not or do not wish to participate in the program should select the appropriate box to indicate as such.
School systems participating in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) are asked to update any changes in their forms that have taken place since the last school year, such as school closings, new school openings, new managers, or new telephone numbers.
