NEWPORT, Ky. – Kentucky Proud women will serve some of their signature dishes at “A Grateful Plate,” a farm-to-table dinner scheduled for Sept. 27 at the New Riff Distillery and Event Center in Newport.

“These producers will have a well-deserved evening in the spotlight, and guests will enjoy a menu of delicious Kentucky Proud foods,” Agriculture Commissioner James Comer said. “This is a great way to raise awareness of some of our outstanding northern Kentucky producers and help a good cause.”

“I’m so grateful to bring such an amazing lineup of women together to celebrate the work we do every day,” said Rachel DesRochers, owner of Grateful Grahams of Covington. “It’s a total bonus that the dinner is a benefit for Community Farm Alliance.”

Participating vendors include Kentucky Proud member businesses The Delish Dish, Babushka Pierogies, Piebird, and Grateful Grahams of Covington; Atwood Village Family Farm of Independence; Greensleeves Farm of Alexandria; Dark Wood Farm of Burlington; Sweetgrass Granola of Crab Orchard; and Sunflower Sundries of Mt. Olivet. Julie Francis of Nectar Restaurant in Cincinnati will serve as the featured chef. Live music will be provided by The Carolines.

The dinner is scheduled for 4-8 p.m. EDT.

Tickets are $125 each and may be purchased at https://gratefulgrahams.com/product/a-grateful-plate/.
