FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentuckians with questions about pests and pesticides can get answers from Kentucky Department of Agriculture (KDA) experts at home and garden shows across the Commonwealth in March.

“The Kentucky Department of Agriculture is the largest regulatory agency in the state, and that includes the regulation of pesticides and pest control industries in Kentucky,” Agriculture Commissioner Ryan Quarles said. “Our employees will host booths at home and garden shows across the state where people may ask questions and pick up informational materials on a variety of subjects. From bedbugs to termites to mosquitoes, our experts will be happy to help you with your pest problems.”

KDA booths will appear at the following events:

  • Louisville Home Garden & Remodeling Show, March 3-5, Kentucky Exposition Center
  • Paducah Home & Garden Show, March 10-12, Bill & Meredith Schroeder Expo Center
  • Central Kentucky Home & Garden Show, Heritage Hall, Lexington

KDA staff will be available to address such topics as treatment and control of structure-invading pests, mosquito control, pesticide regulations, and other ways the KDA improves the life of every Kentuckian every day.
