Kentucky Agricultural Development Board accepting on-farm energy efficiency applications

FRANKFORT, Ky. - The Kentucky Agricultural Development Board is currently accepting applications for the Kentucky On-Farm Energy Efficiency Incentive Program.

The On-Farm Efficiency Incentive Program has funds available to help Kentucky farmers with energy efficiency projects. Eligible applicants are Kentucky farmers with gross farm income of at least $25,000. Applicants are required to have a third party energy audit completed and will be limited to 50 percent reimbursement for the eligible expenditures not to exceed $10,000 within a program year. Only one individual per household is eligible to apply for On-Farm Energy funds within a program year.

Applications should be delivered to the Governor’s Office of Agricultural Policy no later than July 29, 2016.
