APPLES, ASIAN PEARS (sometimes known as the pear-apple or Nashi), EUROPEAN PEARS, BLUEBERRIES, BLACK & RED RASPBERRIES, BLACKBERRIES, PEACHES (white & yellow, mostly all freestone). In our country store we have blackberry & blueberry jam, peach preserves, apple butter, peach & pumpkin butter, local honey (from 20 hives located on our farm), apple cider, caramel apples, oven fried pies, ice cream made with our fruits & berries, sorghum and many other jams and jellies and local handmade crafts!
Reed Valley Orchard is located in rural Bourbon and Harrison counties near Paris and Cynthiana in The Valley area. We are third generation fruit growers from New England and Eastern Kentucky and we pride ourselves in the quality and the different fruit we grow. Our goal is to be able to make a living from the land as well as making us and our customers in Central Kentucky proud of the quality products we raise and sell.
Last Saturday in June, BLUEBERRY JUBILEE & PANCAKE DAY. -----also this fall our COUNTRY FESTIVAL & BACK 40 NATURE WALK, annual event, first Saturday in October. From Lexington follow US 27 to Paris. Turn left at 2nd light onto by-pass. Continue on 27 N when 68 splits. 5.4 miles from split (past Custom Wood) turn left on TOWNSEND VALLEY ROAD. Travel 2 miles and turn right on Lail Lane 7/10 mile to the end of road is Apple Barn----OR ANOTHER WAY...from New Circle Road travel Route 353 (Russell Cave Road) for 16 miles, turn right on Townsend Valley Road, travel 2.2 miles, turn left on Lail Lane & follow signs to the Apple barn.
