The Wells Farm provides a horseback riding program located in Northern Kentucky. The power, warmth and movement of the horse naturally build and tone a child's muscles while improving balance and coordination. Research shows that individuals who participate in therapeutic riding can experience physical, emotional, and cognitive rewards. In a therapeutic riding program, rider goals include improving reading and math skills, symbol recognition, muscle relaxation, balance and coordination, visual, auditory, and speech skills. The horse offers the best therapy of all, a sense of pride, independence and unconditional love.
