About us

Independently owned and managed by John and Joanne Fraley, with one permanent farm tenant, Gary Snedegar and his wife Jo Ann, residing on the farm.

Our Farm consists of 505 acres of beautiful rich rolling Fleming County fields, with several artesian springs, and a deep 2 acre surface area lake for water management.

We have 2 independent purebred Angus beef herds, and 5 quality registered Angus bulls purchased from Stonegate Farm in Fleming County. The smaller herd consists of approx 30 head of which the top quality yearling heifers are retained and bred to a dedicated bull. Afterwards, these heifers are added to our second and larger herd, which consists of approx 120 purebred cows. Both herds receive specific bulls each year around mid June. Calves are weaned during the mid December timeframe each year, with sales no sooner then late May or early June. All of our animals receive the required vaccinations and Pinkeye shots annually, and are dewormed twice each year. The yearling calves, less the heifers we keep for future breeding, are generally sold at CPH 45 sales at the Bluegrass Stockyards in Lexington, twice each year.
