About us

We are a small farm located in Meade county. We''ve been breeding and showing Nubians since 1987. We use both natural service and AI to bring in those qualities we want in our does. We have shown and placed at several national shows. We were named premier Nubian Breeder at the 2000 KY State Fair. Our herd was linear appraised last year, all but the two year old does scored very good or excellent. Our does are bred to freshen at two years of age with 8lbs of milk daily on a well attached udder. We offer stud and AI service here at the farm with a good inventory of semen from our bucks and other well bred bucks. Excess buck kids are offered for meat sales. We have bees that have been treatment free for over 10 years. We use a combination of screen bottom and top boards with small cell foundation. Our loss rate over the winter rarely exceeds 20%.

We offer mixed hay and honey sales off of the farm.

Directions

From 31W turn onto Rt 60. At approximately 7 miles turn right onto Rt 144. From Rt 144 go approximately 3 miles to the 448/144 intersection. Turn left at this intersection (will still be on Rt 144). At the intersection of Rt 144 and Rt 710 (Old State Road)turn right. Approximately one mile up from the intersection on the right side is our house. Mailbox has house number on it (4708).
