About us

Welcome to Amazing Acres. Down on the farm we are always busy. We have been raising burley and dark fired tobacco on the farm since 1978. As you will see we offer heritage activities that kids of all ages enjoy and learn from.

The farm offers the following activities during different times of the year--1. What an outhouse is. 2.Sew on a tredle sewing machine. 3.Hand pump water at the well house. 4.Churn butter from cows milk. 5.Shell field corn-grind it-feed the animals. 6.Pick-N-Pop popcorn on the cob. 7.See working bee hives. 8.Mow a yard--the real way. 9.See a working tobacco farm. 10.Wash clothes without electricity. 11.Hayride around the farm. 12.Waterballoon slingshot. 13.See the animals and learn where they are native from. 14.Eggs from the farm. 15.Make homemade icecream. 16.Face painting. 17.Lets make a scarecrow. 18.Primitive camping and hiking for scouts. 19.Watch the gourds grow. 20.Feather writing. 21.Balloon release.

You will find a variety of animals being cared for by wildlife rehabilitator, Natalie. You will get to see a variety of farm life also. Natalie has raised rabbits, ducks, geese, turkeys, pheasants, peacocks, gunieas, buffalo, ostrich, silky and aracauana chickens, pot belly pig, chipmunks, ferret, cats, skunks, and dogs.

Hopkinsville, KY-- Pennyrile Parkway Exit 12-- East on 1682 go about 1 mile to end of road--turn Left onto Hwy 107 go about .3 mile--turn Right onto Hwy 1682/Antioch Rd--go 2.6 miles on Antioch Rd--turn Left onto Deason Rd go .4 mile--turn Left into driveway.
