About us

Standing 100% foundation quarter horse stallion, Poco Taitos Ojos. Taito is a 37.5% grandson of the legendary Poco Bueno. His sire, Poco Ojos Grande-now deceased-was the last son of Poco Bueno and his paternal grand dam was a daughter of Wimpy P1. He is 20.3% King P234 and 12.5% Wimpy. The bottom of his pedigree contains a good dose of King and some Spanish Nick and Leo San for good measure. He is a classic original quarter horse, and sires super minded, athletic, correct foals. His fee is $450 with a live foal guarantee, mare care is $5 dry/ $7 wet, with pasture breeding available too. Shipped semen will be offered for 2003 season. Call or email for more information.

Simple Pleasures Farm raises approximatly 6 foals a year, we are a small family operation. Being small ensures we have the time to give the new foals each year so they get a real good start in life. Our broodmares are granddaughters of Doc O Lena, Peponita, Genuine Doc, & Colonel Freckles. We believe in the AQHA Incentive Fund program and have nominated Taito every year since we have had him. His oldest foals are now two year olds and will begin thier show careers soon. He has several foals who are point earners in foundation shows in conformation. Simple Pleasures Farm is a member of AQHA, NFQHA, and WFQHA and its affiliate the EAFQHA. We are proud that Taito is a nominated stallion to the EAFQHA Fall Futurity, and have high expectations for his foals.
