The taste of excellence and tradition is what you will experience when you indulge in our famous "Modjeskas". A classic, but delicious, homemade caramel covered marshmallows. Our candy factory is rich with family tradition and honor. Bauer's was started in 1889 by Frederick Bauer (Great-Grandfather to Anna Satterwhite) and was located in Louisville, Kentucky. After being passed down from generation to generation, Bauer's Candy is now owned and proudly operated by Anna Bauer Satterwhite. The company has always been family owned and operated.

We pride ourselves in a top-notch confection. We use pure, heavy ingredients for your pleasure. Each piece is hand-dipped, hand-wrapped and hand-packed. The only thing that is not done like it was over 100 years ago is the machinery we have now.
